Cinema for the weekend: the drama "Downton Abbey" and "The Price of Truth" by Gareth Jones

The drama "Downton Abbey" is a continuation of the British television series of the same name, which appeared on the screens from 2010 to 2015, and includes 52 episodes. American thriller directed by Brian Kirk. Eight policemen were killed while trying to detain two drug dealers. Detective Andre Davis is tasked with finding the criminals and avenging the death of his comrades. He decides to completely block Manhattan, including 21 bridges connecting the island with the rest of the city.

The price of truth

The plot focuses on the autobiographical story of journalist Gareth Jones, who was the first in the West to write about the Holodomor. The main role was played by James Norton, and the company on the set was Vanessa Kirby and Peter Sarsgaard. It is noteworthy that it was this story of Gareth Jones that inspired George Orwell to create the novel Animal Farm.

Wedding year

Successful photographer Mara Hiki is sure that she is not created for family life. It must happen that one by one all Marie’s friends decided to get married this year.
